Keratex Hoof Putty is great for sealing and waterproofing hoof cavities - to use barefoot or under shoes. When applied under shoes, it is imperative that only cold shoeing or glueing is used. 

Manipulate the putty in your hand to soften it up. Once in place, putty will harden again, providing a tight seal that is waterproof and great at keeping out the dirt.
