Ibex Babi-Cuff Foal Extension Shoes

The IBEX Babi-Cuff is versatile in its design, catering to a wide range of applications. It is specifically crafted to aid in correcting flexural deformities seen in foals and young horses, including contracted or collapsed tendons, valgus/varus deviations, and medial/lateral hoof growth abnormalities.

Available in four sizes to accommodate hoof sizes ranging from 1 1/2” to 3 1/2”, each size features slight adjustability. The shoe itself resembles a cuff with four extensions, molded around a compact steel eggbar. This configuration not only ensures stability and support but also enables easy adjustments as needed.

• Aluminium egg bar insert to give strength to the cuff and allow some limited shaping
• Each cuff has toe, heel, lateral and medial extensions. The farrier or vet cuts or rasps off the three extensions not required
